Amber Willingham - Bankruptcy Attorney

Amber Willingham

Amber L. Willingham was born in San Antonio, Texas, raised in Oklahoma, and came back to Texas in 2002. She graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City University in 1992 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1995.

Amber has been drawn toward the area of bankruptcy law since the early 90’s when she interned at a bankruptcy firm throughout her law school career. She has worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission’s bankruptcy department, as well as Tom Powers, Chapter 13 Trustee for the Northern District of Texas Dallas Division; Tim Truman, Chapter 13 Trustee for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division; and William Heitkamp, Chapter 13 Trustee for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division.

Amber brings 17 plus years of experience in the area of bankruptcy to the table for her clients with representation that includes a comprehensive understanding of how the system works.

Amber is a member of the Texas Bar, the Bankruptcy Section of the Texas Bar Association, and is licensed in the Southern District of Texas.

Amber has been married for over 20 years has two children. They have called Katy home for 13 years.

Jim Clark - Bankruptcy Attorney

James Clark

 

James “Jim” Clark grew up in Memphis TN and earned a BA in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He worked as an archaeologist for five years in the Southeastern US including one year in Scotland for the University of Edinburgh. Jim moved to Texas in 1993 and received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston and became licensed to practice law in 2001.

Jim has over 18 years of experience practicing consumer bankruptcy law in the Houston area starting in 2002. He is admitted to the following courts:

  • State of Texas
  • US District Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • United States Tax Court
  • United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit


Jim has been married for 25 years and has two wonderful children.
